What is the job about?
As a Supply Chain Operations Manager, you will maintain accurate demand forecast and aligned supply plan, manage 3PL performance and key customer relationships. You will have complete oversight of the entire supply chain process, from annual demand forecasting, quarterly production planning, adjustments to monthly demand planning, to the final deliveries of finished products to customer premises.

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sales and Operations Planning
Canadian representative on the global S&OP team, responsible for country sales forecasting & supply planning
Align product forecasting and production planning to help deliver contractual commitments, support brand growth plans and new product launches/line extensions.
Attain 90% forecast accuracy while maintaining inventory long-term stock ratio below 10 months.
Maintain an up to date and accurate forecasts in APO for Corporate Supply Chain review
Communicate any new areas of strategic or executional focus to relevant Individuals and teams throughout the continuous planning cycle
Performance Management and Reporting
Collaborate closely with commercial teams across therapeutic areas to make sure therapeutic account plans/performance are fully aligned the supply forecasting
Assess and report monthly primary sales to the General Manager and commercial teams on a bi-weekly basis including opportunities and risks
Assess inventory and distribution levels monthly to proactively manage emerging issues and risks (low distribution vs targets and or SKUs at risk inventory/demand mismatch)
Reports on monthly inventory valuation to the internal finance team
Monthly sales reporting in OctaBI to corporate finance team ensuring zero discrepancy between SAP and 3PL inventory. Commercial Business and Supply Chain Operations
Lead and guide operations team to deliver 98% or above customer KPIs
Lead key strategic collaboration projects that may involve internal and/or external partners to improve efficiency or effectiveness of the SCM function
Point of contact for 2 customers, Canadian Blood Service and Hema-Quebec for forecasting and supply chain matters
Canada representative to maintain the OctaProcess submissions for inventory adjustments and approvals
Maintain all SAP local master data with most accurate and up-to-date information at all times
Manage 3PL’s performance to obtain accuracy of inventory, shipping and receiving
Manage company’s operations costs below the target level
Desired Education and Experience:
A University Degree
5 years’ experience in a dynamic logistics and inventory management role.
Advanced user of MS Office, SAP and APO
Previous project management experience is an asset.
Knowledge of current trends in pharma and cold chain supply chain management

English language skills are a must and bilingualism (French and/or German) is an advantage
